Porcelain bark bowl

I went for a walk in the woods a few kilometers from Berlin and was inspired to reproduce the familiar yet fascinating structure of bark I saw all around me. I hand-pinched this bowl from porcelain and left the outside unglazed to highlight the beautiful structure. The inside is glazed with a transparent glaze. 

The bowl is around 11 cm in diameter and 7cm in height. It is handmade so it is not a perfect round object. 

All my pieces are handmade by me in my Berlin studio. They feature glazes I made and formulated. I recommend hand-washing this particular bowl.
